Borja's 911 Conection
The Daily News article, My dad will always be a hero to me! On February 13, give another great example of dreadful news reporting and then trying to cover up all the mistakes which have being made. The Article in the NY Times Investigates Borja's 9/11 Connection, you read facts about what really happen, true account and the question which should of being asked when writing a news article. The Daily News should have retracted the story or given some type of apology for the miss information about Mr. Borja. They bluntly made a mistake about him being a first respondent and when he truly arrived at ground zero. They should have asked doctors at the hospital about his condition, family and co-workers. They relied on the words of a Pilipino reporter making a world class paper assume this was all true and then reporting on third person information. The article had the making of a novel as it relayed the emotion of Ceasar Borja Jr. instead of focusing on the facts. Ceasar Jr. is quoted by the Times to his true motives of only highlighting 911 victims and not his father, but the Daily News displayed the story on an emotional tabloid base instead of of news paper story.REP. Maloney issued a statement to give the article in The New York Tines of Cesar Borja more credibility in the US Fed News. Her point was also to highlight the victims of 911 and to have the government monitor the effects of the dust and debris left by 911. These issues were the ones highlighted by Ceasar Jr. to the NY Times. Instead of news we received the emotional rhetoric of a son by the Daily News. The NY Times proves its superiority and non bias or non-ethnocentric ways of writing and article as the idea of reporting news, is that, reporting non bias issues and events.

Giuliani For President
Giuliani Steps Closer to a Run in 2008
In the New York Times article for the race to presidency for Mr. Giuliani the main idea was always on track. The focus was always on Giuliani running for president of the United States but first wining the republican nomination to the white house. The NYT was very professional in explaining the who, when, why, where, what and the how.
The story chronological setting gave the reader a great understanding of what the real issue was, which is the filing for the presidency. It makes a good point in comparing not only Hilary Clinton but also other Republican candidates such as John McCain and Mitt Romney. It read as if it didn’t have any bias towards any other republican nominees or democrats.
'RUNNIN' MATES' JUDI 'N' RUDY AIM FOR '08
In the New York Post the article on Giuliani was more about the wife of Rudy Giuliani, than about him or his cadency to the presidency. The article takes a twist from his political ambition and what he is trying to accomplish to how his wife feels about him. It goes on to talk about his habits and health and not about the political arena. This article does touch on the election of 2008 but it goes to narrate his wife’s thoughts on it and about what she thinks of her husband. It took al credibility as a political article or the little news that it had. It was an article made for some woman magazine talking about a woman’s husband and how a wife feels about her husband.
Name juggling creates sticky Web for Giuliani
The Daily News took a completely different approached to the story as it wrote about a kid who registered the name of Giuliani. This teenager has obtain and registered the name and has the website showing some type of profanity on it. It moved away from the issue of the election of the presidency in 08 completely. This article was not news and it only was a tabloid story for the gossip section of some type of magazine. It read as it ridicule Giuliani and his staff more than it spoke about the election process and what was at stake to get to the white house. The New York Times was the only paper that did cover the story on Giuliani’s bid for the presidency. They presented and educate argument and represented the facts rather well, it was an informative read for an educated reader who is looking for the news.
